5 min from the city and 15 min from center we have just finished our house at a wonderful quiet location. The surroundings during summertime are birds forrest and berries. Lake very close by. During wintermonths we have the privilege of a private show of the world famous northern lights. Some bus drivers know about this spot and sometimes they bring their passengers to our neighbourhood to enjoy the show. In the master bedroom we have a big window in the roof to be able to watch and stay warm.

The house was built 2018 and has a big windows so our guests can enjoy the view. The house is surrounded by beautiful wildlife at the summer time and the northern lights at the winter time. Urriðafoss Apartments is fully equipped with wifi, TV, combo washing machine and dryer, coffee machine, fridge, all necessary kitchen tools and hot tub.

You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.
