This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Y Bwthyn is a stone cottage in the grounds of our home. It has stunning views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia. The Ship Inn is within walking distance of the property and Llanbedrog's lovely National Trust Beach is 5 mins drive away it's dog friendly throughout the year. We welcome two well behaved dogs at no extra charge ( additional on request) please message us if you are bringing your dog (dogs) with you to stay. The cottage has a small enclosed garden with patio area and a small lawn.

Our house has a cosy log burner and a downstairs toilet. A fully equipped new kitchen and a beautiful established garden to unwind in! It has a gated parking area. It sleeps 2 in a king size bed. Price includes bedding, towels, and WiFi. The owner lives next door. From the doorstep you can walk in the wonderful countryside, or into the forest. You can walk to the famous Ty Coch pub on the beach which is a good walk enjoyed by many guests over the years.
