Our tiny little cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you are looking for a remote getaway with beautiful sites, some fabulous fishing, or riding your side by side through the mountains, this place is in the heart of it. Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

Dandy Flats - The Quaintrelle

Tucked inside the oldest historic buildings on the main drag in Thomas and adorned with 135-year old plaster walls, original woodwork, encaustic tile and purple marble - this tastefully styled flat is for those looking for the transportive experience historic buildings deliver. Less than 10 min drive to everything: Timeberline ski resort, Canaan Valley ski resort, incredibly fun local XC ski area Whitegrass, art galleries, amazing food options, breweries, and even distilleries! There are two state parks to hike and explore within 10 mins, and a beautiful wildlife refuge only one mile away. Whatever outdoor recreation you enjoy, Tucker Co has the best places to explore. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

This first floor apartment boasts a rare king bed in its primary bedroom and only three blocks from downtown. On the first floor of this newly renovated duplex, each unit has its own separate entrance, this well appointed apartment with laundry and has everything you need before a day of exploring charming Elkins or the Mon Forest. This two bed, one bath condo has everything you need for a comfortable short- or long-term stay away from home.

Wintertime readiness: When we have snow, 4-wheel or All-wheel drive will be best. Watch the weather. Un plug at Tree House. The cabin now has Wi Fi. There is also a DVD player w/ DVDs. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music. Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.
