Gap of Dunloe Shepherd's Cottage

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. Nestled in the heart of Gap of Dunloe Glacial Valley, Beaufort, Killarney on the Ring of Kerry, spend some quiet time in our lovingly restored 1800s cottage. The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Ceim House captures the peace and tranquillity of the Black valley, Gap of Dunloe and is an ideal base to explore everything that County Kerry has to offer. Nestled in amongnst the Reeks District with a magnificent view of the Upper Lake of Killarney in the National Park. The bustling tourist town of Killarney is 13 miles and Kenmare 15 miles drive. The world famous Kate Kearney’s Cottage is just a 15 minute drive away. Home cooked meals are available on request as Agnes is a qualified chef.

It’s prime location places it on the Iveragh Peninsula, along the Ring of Kerry driving route, with the Kerry Way walking trail 350 metres away. Kenmare is a 5 minute drive, Sneem is 15 minutes, and Killarney National Park is less than half an hour over the scenic Molls Gap. The property itself is tucked away on a quiet country lane, surrounded by native woodland with a stream meandering by.

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water.
