Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

Our Cottage is cosy, newly refurbished and fully equipped and detailed. With Mangati Walkway just around the corner, a bike ride takes 30 minutes to Fitzroy Beach/Te Rewa Rewa bridge. We are a 5mins drive from NP airport/10mins drive to New Plymouth CBD and approx 30mins drive to Mt Taranaki. Walking distance to Bell Block Beach and the scenic Coastal Walkway from Bell Block to NP in an hour. Great for a weekend/short visit to the region.

This self-contained unit is located less than a 10 min walk from New Plymouth town and costal walkway. It boasts a warm cosy space with all the amenities you need. It has a separate entrance from the main home allowing for more privacy with its own bathroom and kitchenette (with microwave, two elements, fridge, kettle and toaster). There is plenty of free street parking as well as a single car parking space next to the airbnb (for small cars only).
