17th Century Peak District Cottage

Mount Pleasant Cottage was built in the 1600s and is the oldest residential property in the picturesque village of Monyash. This peaceful Peak District getaway is full of character including original oak beams, a wood-burning stove and stunning views of the surrounding countryside as well as a library of fascinating books from around the world. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the Bulls Head pub and Old Smithy cafe. The cottage lies at the beginning of the stunning Lathkill Dale walk.

Tucked away in a peaceful location above the lovely village of Tideswell, West View Cottage is the perfect base to relax and explore the beautiful Peak District. Newly renovated, this self contained, cosy annexe is a light and welcoming space with its own entrance at the back of our family home. It has beautiful views across the valley but is within a short walk of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafe. Walking and cycling from the door or a short drive to all the Peak District attractions.

The Old Chapel is the ground floor apartment in the former Primitive Methodist Chapel in Tideswell. Built in 1893 the property has been lovingly transformed into a luxury contemporary holiday apartment which oozes character and charm. Rooms are all on one level. For those who love country walks, there are plenty, right on your doorstep. Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, The Monsal Trail (to name a few) are but a short journey away. The village boasts many amenities - a Co-op, bakery, a butcher, Pharmacy, café, several pubs and a superb restaurant-all in walking distance.

A beautiful, recently converted barn which was originally the Groom's Cottage. Newly renovated in 2018 this one bed, one bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' fields to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Separately available is The Coach House, next door, also new and sleeping 4 people in equal style.
