Our house is located in Milatos;a largely unspoilt, traditional village in Crete's Lasithi region and it’s divided into the inland and the beach. Milatos inland is a picturesque place surrounded by olive groves, where you can stroll through its narrow streets,spot traditional homes and visit the cave just outside the village. Milatos beach is a by-the-sea development where you can visit the fishing harbor and its sandy and calm beach, nearby taverns and several pebble beaches and secluded coves.

A modern eco-friendly stone-built retreat, set in a private olive grove using regenerative farming, just 2 km from the sea, surrounded by olives, pines and cedars, with views of Ha Gorge. It is built on the exact same spot of an older lodging, a "magatze" as we call it here, that served our family during the olive's harvest. The name of the olive groves around the house is Sotirali and may be a corruption of the Turkish name "Sotir Αli".
