Vila MIGLA

Vila MIGLA is in a very small village, in the Labanoras forest, near the lake Aisetas (16 km long). Ideal for wild nature and sport lovers. I personally in summer swim long distances in Aisetas. In winter: when there are good conditions, lake Aisetas is perfect for long distance (20-30 km) free stile skiing. Forest is good for classic skiing. Summer is good for gathering berries and mushrooms. Car drive to Vilnius center: 1.5 hour, to Kaunas center 2.0 hour, to Moletai and Utena 0.5 hour.

A quiet and peaceful little loft is literally located in between the railway tracks. Its windows overlook a river, a wetland full of birds and a forest. Trains passing right under its windows several times a day become the main romantic attraction of the stay. A historical building is a former railway elecricity power plant. A part of the building is still functioning as a train depot, the rest of it was turned into barracks for railway workers and recently into loft style apartments.

Vilija und ich sind ein litauisch-schweizerisches Ehepaar und bieten auf dem zwei Hektar grossen Grundstück nebst Ausstellungen in der Galerie und im Park auch weitere kulturelle Veranstaltungen an. Hunde und andere Haustiere dürfen nicht mitgebracht werden.
