Extensive beautiful gardens give everyone the ambiance of a very, very peaceful place. Many love to connect with the friendly farm animals. The BNB is very comfortable & private. The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

This space is perfect for a couple getaway, or a family looking for an opportunity to be away from the city. There is currently not a store, a gas station, or a coffee shop on the island. Please plan your meals accordingly There is a restaurant for dinners.

Your vacation rental, Marea, sits right at the water's edge on low bank waterfront with unobstructed views. There's a permitted Deep-water floating dock (if you would like to arrive by boat). RV parking is also available. The beach is littered with oysters & clams. The expansive deck is ideal for entertaining or enjoying the views from the hot tub. Enjoy kayaking and bird watching while roasting smores around the firepit. 3 kayaks are available. No Pets please.

Launch your kayaks (provided) from the private beach or dock, then paddle around and explore Filucy Bay. For fine dining (or just great, casual food), visit nearby Gig Harbor or stay and cook in the well-equipped kitchen.

Come enjoy a bonfire while watching herons fish, a soak in the Bay side spa, kayak around the corner for a full view of Mount Rainier, cuddle on the couch under blankets listening to the rain falling, enjoy a BBQ with local seafood... the possibilities are endless and we cannot wait to share them with you!

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each.
