Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Suite 2 - Lincoln's Lodge

New construction for the summer of 2025. This cozy retreat is full of all the amenities you will need for your stay. The main room features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and reclining sofa with smart TV. The bathroom includes a corner shower and washer/dryer. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft with ladder access has one full, one short double and one twin floor mattresses perfect for kids or able-bodied adults. High-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee). For our fishermen- there is off street parking for your boats.

Modern Rustic Family Getaway- Our cabin is not a place to stay while on vacation...our cabin is the vacation! You can come and enjoy the surrounding areas if you want, but you can also just come and spend the entire time away from the outside world. It is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to just unwind. Located up on a bluff, between Prairie Du Chien and Ferryville, this cabin gets you about 5 minutes from the river but allows you the serenity of being tucked away in the trees.

Take it easy, relax and enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer. Great bird and nature watching opportunities from our cabin and the decks! Our cabin has been newly renovated and is the perfect spot to explore the area. It is best suited for 1 or 2 people - 4 guests maximum (2 adults and 2 children, or 4 adults). The bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed in the same room with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. A queen sofa sleeper is located in the living room.
