Cook in the kitchen or grill in the beach side pavilion. Walk the trails around the lake through forest & meadow to the nearby State Forest & Gold Mine Trail. We group the 3 cottages to preserve the shore for nature to thrive-message to reserve all 3 for total privacy

Coffee, tea bags, sugar, mini fridge provided. No kitchen. Property abuts Pemi River with swimming hole. Franconia Notch, 10-15 minutes drive to hiking, skiing at Loon or Cannon , 30 min to Waterville Valley. Snowshoe out the door by the river. My Swiss heritage makes me a supurb cleaner. Wifi. Parking. Winner of Maine Homes Small Space Design Award 2023 We are located on the private 80-acre Shapleigh Pond in the Southern Maine, an hour from Portland and two hours from Boston. Experience a bygone era in this restored Schoolhouse circa 1866 with many original details such as oversized glass-paned windows, wood plank floors, chalkboards, tin ceiling and more. Modern amenities such as fireplace, private hot tub, fire pit, gas BBQ and access to our pool (June-Sept), pond and tennis court.
