Walk to the WATERFALL in the Russian Gulch State Park from the cottage. We are at the eastern edge of the park. We've been sharing our cottage with guests for many years and have many guests that return year after year. It's a perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, special occasion or quiet retreat. The Little Blue Farmhouse is a perfect escape for anyone looking for a peaceful visit to the Mendocino Coast. The house, built from old growth redwoods in the 1860s, will take you back in time...to a time when the Caspar Lumber Company was in full swing. Historical photos and stories are provided for those interested in stepping back in time. Caspar is an an inviting community today. Walk to a beach and the very accessible Caspar Headlands. The sounds of nearby sea lions are delightful!

Whether you are nature lovers, riders, or want a quiet personal or romantic retreat, our place is ideal. Walking, hiking, biking trails abound right from the property. Tucked into a magnificent redwood forest the cottage has a gas fireplace, reading chair, futon couch, good lighting, desk, and dining table. The kitchen contains basic staples, including teas and fresh organic eggs from our hens. A large claw-foot tub is in the bathroom and a shower is on the secluded west facing deck.
