There is a lapa next to the chalet with a fire pit, as well as a picnic deck with breath-taking views overlooking the water-lily covered dam and a beach! The Chalet is located on a 3000 ha private game farm between Mookgphong (Naboomspruit) and Vaalwater with giraffes, buffalo, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest, and many other species. Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala and much more roam freely in Marloth Park and frequently visit the garden along with an abundance of bird species. The park boasts it's own Lionspruit Game Reserve which is open to visitors and residents of the Park at a small fee.
