Fully furnished and beautifully decorated to make your stay comfortable and delightful. Memory foam mattresses for wonderful sleep and a kitchen for cooking if desired. At Houstondale you can stroll to the barn and visit the horses or hide away in your space and relax. The KY Horse Park is a 22 minute drive, Lexington is 25 minutes and you are 30 minutes from horse racing at Keeneland Race Track. Even with the remote feel you are only 1 mile from Walmart, shops, and downtown Paris.

Tour the elite thoroughbred farms, take a trip on the Bourbon Trail, visit the KY Horse Park, have a day at the races during historic Keeneland (April & October), or drive a bit further for Churchill downs or the Ark Encounter.

Big Red Stables is happy to offer the Bunkhouse to visitors who want to ride horses, travel to nearby bourbon distilleries, go to the races or events at the Kentucky Horse Park, or just get away from it all on a third generation family farm. Our guest suite is located in the daylight basement of our family home and can accommodate up to 4 guests. We are a 20-minute drive from Blue Grass Airport and Keeneland. Only 15 minutes from Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill.
