Come stay in our new lovely above ground basement suite. We live above with our 3 young kids and noise should be expected between 8am-11pm. This probably isn't for you if you're looking for a serene, romantic getaway. It's comfortable, A/C, has a fabulous view, is centrally located for island adventures. Nestled in gorgeous hillside, space for outdoor gear, kitchen with induction cooktop, private laundry, Wifi etc. Adjacent to another AirBNB suite and not suitable for kids. Hope to see you soon!

Launch your kayak or paddle board steps from your front door and explore some of the most beautiful waterfront in the world. Hiking and mountain biking trails are minutes away or just relax and enjoy the incredible sunsets. Amazing wildlife including orcas, whales, otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, are frequently spotted right out front. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

The Vine and the Fig Tree studio

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

The house is best as getaway for 2 with occasional guests in separate bedrooms. all amenities plus a fireplace, heated stone floors and outside bathtub. Watch the storms or the full moon from the bedroom.

Welcome to our west coast escape that is only a short walk to the beach and 5 minutes to downtown Parksville. Enjoy our little sanctuary in this quiet neighbourhood. Our space brings to life traditional west coast style with cedar finishings and sun streams through skylights all day long. Enjoy the indoor space or outdoors with a large backyard and patio. A seperate entrance through the shared backyard, a bathroom, cozy living area with a TV, guest WiFi, queen bed, sofa bed, and a well-equipped kitchenette. Keypad entry and designated parking. The studio suite is a private addition attached to our family home.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
