Watch the boats and steam trains from the juliette balcony or take the five minute ferry across to Dartmouth. Kingswear is a charming character village with some of the most beautiful views across the River Dart. It has shops, pubs, a post office and is a great location being centrally located to explore the whole of South Devon.

Welcome to the Maple Room, a private en suite guest unit in our family home. The room has its own private entrance, it is completely self contained and comprises of an entry room and an en suite bedroom. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

Quay Cottage, Kingswear, Devon. Views to die for!

Quay Cottage offers panoramic views of the steam railway, marina, river Dart and Naval College from every window. It sits on a quiet back street and is one of the few houses in the village without steps. Warm and cozy, it is the ideal retreat. Kingswear is home to some lovely old Pubs and is a short ferry/bus ride ride from shops, theatres, art galleries, museums, National Trust Houses, cafes, Pubs and restaurants. Sadly we cannot accommodate pets/children and there is no private parking.

North Barn on the banks of the River Dart

North Barn is an 18th century stone building, bursting with character, set on the banks of the River Dart. Originally a corn collection point, North Barn has been renovated to a beautiful, romantic ‘one-room-living’ self-catering space. The atmosphere is fresh and light, with skylights that make even the dullest of days seem bright. The patio doors open up on to a large deck area overlooking the river from an elevated height thus giving you great views across the River Dart.

Quiet & private it’s located down from street level and just a few 100 metres from the River Dart which is possible to see from the garden terrace. A few minutes walk to the passenger & car ferries for the short trip over to Dartmouth. Perfect for the coastal path. Street parking is free a few minutes walk from the property & paid parking is in the marina

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. The Boat house is a luxurious relaxing space, with Veiws to die for. Please note the hot tub is not available with this accommodation. Where it has been reviewed Guests have used it as it was available and at my discretion. Sorry for any disappointment . By all means ask the question . Especially mid week and out of season bookings.
