Rubha nan Gall Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage

A former Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage in a spectacular remote location on the Isle of Mull. Built by the Stevensons in 1857, Rubha nan Gall Keeper's Cottage has been completely renovated and now offers a comfortable home for up to 6 guests from which to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and abundant wildlife. Access is via a coastal footpath, a 25 min walk from Tobermory and there is NO vehicle access. The cottage is off-grid, but solar panels, a spring and WiFi mean you probably won’t notice.

There are sandy beaches and plenty of rock pools only a 100 yards from the door and stunning views of the small isles, Skye and Sanna Bay. Or for stormy days there is Tv, Wifi, family games and books. A large enclosed garden to the front and rear of the property with off road parking. Mill House Steading is a contemporary conversion of a historic barn into a 2 bedroom architect designed home. The balcony overlooks the burn with views across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. See countryfile series17 episode 7 to see the beauty of the landscape around us. The bay is perfect for watersports. Many guests go to the Glenfinnan viaduct to see the Harry Potter train. it is around 1.5hr beautiful drive. Our family have all been so we are very able to help plan your trip.

It's perfect for a single person or a couple. Achnadrish is in a very rural area and the Cabin is an ideal getaway from it all location, with the benefit of having the owners next door should you need help. If we are away then we always have a back up person on hand to help.
