Weathercock House Tigoni

Weathercock House and its enchanting garden share the air, peace and fertility of Kenya's tea-growing highlands, where Nairobi seems distant as another planet. And yet, as a photo shows, the city still seems so close, you could skip down the lawn and launch yourself into its roiling imbroglio. The house itself is spacious, a bit old-school, but warm and comfortably furnished, with original art works by famous Kenyan artists. The garden is a treasure trove of birds and trees and flowering plants.

This is the perfect place to experience nature while being in Nairobi. Rate is for self-catering. Full English breakfast available at $20/pp per day.

Its situated a short walk from a 100 acre lake where you can fish or simply enjoy the feeling of reconnecting with nature. You can also boat across and tour the neighbouring coffee farm.
