The Bear Cub Cabin

Built by Alaskan gold miners in the early 1900’s, the Bear Cub Cabin was reconstructed in 2016. Nestled in the beautiful Chugach National Forest with towering Alaskan mountains right at your doorstep. The Cowboy Cabin

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Our cabin is the perfect place to get-away to beautiful Homer, AK. Located centrally between town and Homer’s XC ski trail network at Ohlson Mtn. It is an authentic heavy timber hunting cabin that has been modernized to be warm & comfortable with a full kitchen and bath as well as a loft bedroom with a view of Kachemak Bay. It is private but located on a shared property with our home which is ideal for providing assistance with anything you may need.

This incredible log home features a luxurious master bedroom with a king bed and a private bath in the loft. The downstairs area includes three queen beds and a convenient half bath with a washer and dryer. The main floor boasts a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a cozy living room. The six bar stools around the kitchen bar and the six-person dining table provide ample space for entertaining up to twelve guests.

Salmon Cabin - Fisherman's Dream!

Salmon Cabin is one of three cabins at River Rock Lodge. We are close to town and it's many amenities. Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals. Grill is provided. Sit out on the porch and watch the river flow by! We have 3 different docks you can fish from. Docks may be removed as early as September 15. The cabin is close to town, nestled on 10 acres overlooking the head of the Beluga Slough. You’ll love my place because of the hand-hewn dove tailed logs, wild mushroom foraging, and privacy close to town. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
