Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Large fenced in area for children and dogs to play. Cozy and clean. Beds and bedrooms are small and may not be suitable for all people. Welcome to Jolene’s Place. This 1100sqft 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has been recently updated and provides all the comforts of home. Located just on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Jolene's is just a short drive to many of the local areas and attractions like Laurel Lake, Cumberland Falls, Corbin Arena, lots of hiking trails, and much more. The home sleeps 6 guests with 2 queen beds and a queen highrise air mattress. The driveway offers plenty of room for boat parking as well.

Creekside Adventures

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Our guest suite is very spacious and open. Many of our guest have let us know how inviting and relaxing it is to stay in. We also have a creek where our children use to play when they were little. Kids can easily play in it when the weather is nice but please be careful on the walls and stones. We also have a pool area that is available for swimming during late May through early September. We do not allow pets. No Parties

When you're ready to relax; just sit back, make a campfire to roast marshmallows or fire up the barbecue grill! This is a FORMER paylake. Please don't expect to fish, as the paylake is closed.

The cottage is also close to three different boat ramps on Laurel River Lake and is just a skip and a hop to the Daniel Boone National Forest filled with everything outdoors.
