Importantly- you must provide your own transport as there is no public transport to Makara from Karori the nearest suburb, some 9.5 kms away. Have an urban camping experience in our iconic Airstream caravan in historic inner-city Thorndon, the oldest suburb of Wellington. The Airstream has a double bed, and a dining area which converts to a single bed suitable for one adult or two small children. Located next to our office and with your own carpark, you are just a short stroll to the central city, tourist attractions, transport hubs, nature walks, restaurants, bars and cafes.
