Grýlusteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Perfect for newly weds, couples or friends. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset , wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.

Brand new cozy cottage 52 m2 with two bedrooms, set with in our farm Hraunháls on Snæfellsnes peninsula. Between Stykkishólmur (20km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km). The cottage has all basic necessities, stove with oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and freezer also washing machine, smart flat screen and free Wi-Fi. There’s a nice patio around the cottage where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and view, listen to birds singing in the summer and spot the northern lights in the winter.

Our beautiful house is in the center of the old town in Stykkishólmur. It is located within a walking distance from all of the fine restaurant the town has to offer. It is located 50m (160 ft) from the Water Museum that offers spectacular view over the town, harbor, mountains and the islands that the fjord is famous for. The local swimmng pool, supermarket, pharmacy and bakery are within walking distance. The house is two floors built in 1907 and is 105 sq meters in total. HG-00016026

Welcome to our farmhouse in "Lækur in Dýrafjörður" where you'll be greeted by unique natural beauty. The house stands on 80 hectares of ground where you'll find beautiful views, scenic hiking trails, and spectacular natural beauty and tranquility all around, all year around. There is access to a private beach with private road to it. The area is sensitive in the summer time because of eider birds and needs to be treated carefully and with respect. The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

The 45m2 cottage is equipped with two bedrooms, a toilet with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a view of the valley below Kirkjufell and a hot tub on the terrace.

Our place is perfect for those that want to explore the Westfjords, with the three top destinations of the area within an hours drive. It is on the ground floor of our house, we live upstairs and are happy to provide information our guests might need for their traveling. The apartment is recently renovated and has great view over the fjord.
