Cabin 5 is in the center of it all. This waterfront cabin has its own deck overlooking Lake Huron. There is also a futon which can sleep 2 extra people. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas. We have direct access to Lake Huron as well

The Little House on the Edge of the Big Woods

Welcome to the Little House on the Edge of the Big Woods. Come relax on our homestead in Northeast Michigan. This newly constructed chalet style home sits on 10 acres. Relax and view the cattle grazing in the fields or the whitetail deer foraging around. To the South is our homestead style farm which is home to our Scottish Highland cattle, mini horse, pigs, chickens, cats, and bunnies. To the North is the Huron National Forest. The city of East Tawas is only a short 4.5 mile drive as well.

Welcome to our charming 1 bedroom cabin nestled in the tranquil woods right on Van Etten Lake! Our cozy cabin is the perfect retreat for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful getaway! Summer guests will enjoy private access to Van Etten Lake and water for swimming, fishing, or kayaking. In the winter this well insulated, tiny home has radiant heat, as well as the ambience of a woodstove.  Cross country skiing trails are nearby, as well as restaurants and shops!!

North Riverside Retreat on the Tawas River provides a peaceful setting while being just a short walking distance to Shoreline Beach. This cozy cottage has everything to unplug and relax. Build a fire, catch some Bluegill, enjoy a scenic kayak paddle upstream to Tawas Lake or down to Lake Huron. Take a short bike ride to downtown East Tawas and experience unique shops and a variety of locally owned eateries for a bite, cocktails or ice cream. Location? This is it!

Cozy 2 bedroom cabin on Tawas Lake

Papa's place is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that over looks Tawas Lake, great for fishing, kayaking & bird watching. The cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, open living space with a 50" smart TV and wood stove for those cool spring & fall nights. The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away. Come for a night or stay the week on Michigan’s sunrise side.

The Van Etten Lake Chalet No pets

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This special 3 bed 2.5 bath chalet is located on the quiet part of Van Etten Lake, ensuring you will have a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Relax and fish on your own private dock and tie up your boat, and jet skis. Van Etten Lake is a year-round all-sports Lake for boating, fishing, kayaking, jet skiing, canoeing, water skiing, tubing, swimming, and ice fishing.

The Cabin

Only weekly, Friday to Friday rentals in July and August. While we lovingly refer to our home up north as "The Cabin" it is far from just a cabin. Cottage on the outside, cabin on the inside, this home has it all! LAKE, ORV trails, a stunning home, and best of all you can bring your fur babies (dogs only - $100 per stay). Ramp to front porch for more accessibility. Pontoon boat available to rent ($650/week).
