From the apartment you have direct views on these mountains. The new Eiger Express is 25 min by train from Wilderswil Station which also offers a cogwheel train up to the Schynige Platte and a 3 min connection to Interlaken. The area offers many walking paths and hiking tracks, starting from the house.

Please note: there is no full kitchen, but the studio is well equipped and ideal for breakfast and light meals. Located close to the center of Thun, the train station is a scenic 10-minute walk along the Aare River, which also leads into Thun’s Old Town. The bus stop is right in front of the house, and the lake with wonderful alpine views is just across the street.

Situated 15 minutes from Interlaken and Spiez, the little village of Krattigen is situated like an Eagle Nest, overviewing the entire lake of Thun. It's no coincidence Krattigen has three different camping spots for caravans. The view is nice. And within Krattigen, Little Villa a prime location.
