All of the park and hiking trails are easily accessible, and we are also very close to excellent restaurants and shopping. The bright, newly constructed garden suite features many thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable. It's the perfect base for exploring Portland.

Tall windows overlook greenery and a cozy porch. Our family's 1900 house has been divided into separate apartments. Its like an artsy hotel room, but much more homey!

A bolthole created from passion by Kaemingk Design, The Green Door PDX was designed to provide a unique respite from the energy of Portland while being conveniently located only minutes from downtown and popular shopping/eating districts. We have taken queues from Europe and built a traditional field cottage tucked into the landscape at the front of the property and surrounded it with mature greenery for an inviting welcome and ultimate privacy for our guests.
