Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

Our suite offers a peek a boo view of the ocean and mountain landscapes that make for a stunning sunset backdrop. Welcome to our west coast escape that is only a short walk to the beach and 5 minutes to downtown Parksville. Enjoy our little sanctuary in this quiet neighbourhood. Enjoy a Micro Cabin experience at this centrally located acreage in Upper Gibsons. The Shanty is a Micro Cabin with a bedroom Loft and outdoor trough tub on our 2.5 acre property on Reed Road. This Cabin is a super funky, private and has a laid back feel. Our property is within walking distance to so many amenities: Public Transit, Gibsons Park Plaza and all the Restaurants & Storefronts along the 101 Hwy. We are located in the picturesque south end of Salt Spring Island, within walking distance of pristine beaches, forest trails, Ruckle provincial park, and various local farmstands.

Cozy 240 sq ft tiny cabin with all the essentials, including washer/dryer, small oven, fridge, and microwave. Features an indoor shower plus a seasonal outdoor shower (hot & cold, May–Sept). Private deck, seating area, and propane fire pit. Walk to Palm Beach and the Sunshine Coast Trail. Convenience/liquor store nearby. 15 min to Saltery Bay ferry, 20 min to Comox ferry.
