Our home is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just steps from where the Duckabush River meets the Hood Canal. We have tried to create a cozy and rustic space for guests to relax in! The cabin is conveniently located near lots of hiking trails, and several public beaches. Prepare to be completely engulfed in nature, as the property is home to many interesting and rare plants and trees. Come sit in the hot tub, while bald eagles fly overhead, or head to a public beach and find a bounty of oysters!

Come enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the Lake Cushman area in this adorable 1 bedroom cabin. This cabin comes with a unique covered outdoor living area that includes a hot tub and multiple seating options. It is fully equipped for spring and summer fun as well as cozy fall and winter getaways. Also comes with a guest pass for you to be able to enjoy beautiful Lake Cushman and Lake Kokanee, which are both about a 10 minute drive away. Lake Cushman Golf Course and disc golf course are minutes away.

A perfect cozy winter retreat, you are right on the low bank waterfront of a private lagoon, & the Hood Canal, surrounded by woods. Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Everyone will have fun at Octopus Hole! Also available for rent are our adjacent studio cottage and our 2-bedroom 1930's cabin, located on the far side of the studio. All 3 cabins are located right next to each other, right on the beach. Rent two or all three cabins for a large group or a reunion!
