Ideally located, with a gentle stroll down to Coniston Water and a bridle path above, leading to the fells and Coniston Old Man. Half a mile from the village and opposite the Ship Inn.

Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. If you fancy a walk up the old man of Coniston or a trip to Tarn Hows you can access all of these places on foot. Two bedroom, one bathroom cottage.

The cottage is perfectly located, perched just above Coniston village at the foot of the mountain. It's a short stroll down the hill to the village, with its many amenities, and to the lake. Walks up the Old Man of Coniston begin from right outside the house.
