Located in Northeast Harbor, we are walking distance to the Marina, restaurants, and shopping. We are a short bike ride away from the Brown Mountain Gate House to enter Acadia. A 15 min drive to Bar Harbor, and steps away from the school with play spaces, and even a free public pool (July & August). We are the gem you have been searching for.

Hiking trails are less than a mile away and plenty of fresh and salt water access nearby. Outside table and chairs surrounded by trees, birds and gardens in a quiet, safe neighborhood at the end of a short dirt road. Enjoy total privacy or ask your hosts for local knowledge. All one room, with kitchenette, queen bed, futon couch, and fold out single bed.

Little Suite in the Woods

Escape to the quiet woods of Mount Desert Island in a modern retreat within easy driving distance of Acadia National Park. The house is located on the quiet side of the island, 1/2 mile off of Rt. 198. As you depart 198 a gravel road takes you through dense forest, leaving behind the street noise and summer rush. When you arrive you are surrounded by woods with not another house in sight. If you are looking to be in town, this is not it. We are driving distance to the hotspots.

Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Lofty-Digs is a newly constructed studio apartment in the upstairs of our barn. We are delighted to tell you that we are solar powered!!! The apartment offers a private entrance, small balcony overlooking our garden, free off street parking, a full bath, plenty of closet space all in a peaceful inviting, quiet, and roomy studio. Walking distance to all that Bangor has to offer including Waterfront Pavilion, Stephen King's house, wonderful pubs and restaurants.

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.
