Built in the 1820's as part of the New Town and West End, the property is in Edinburgh's World Heritage site and is a Grade A listed building. It has been renovated to maintain many of its original features whilst maintaining a contemporary feel. The whole apartment has an open feel due to the large, open door ways, extra high ceilings, wide hallway and wide plank French oak flooring throughout. The huge, living / dining area is perfect for dinner parties and the beautiful, designer kitchen is also a great place to socialise while cooking. 4 very large bedrooms , 3 with super king size beds, one with a kingsize bed. One of the larger rooms has the alternative option of 2 single beds. Hotel quality bed linen and towels provided. 2 modern bathrooms, one en-suite from the master bedroom with a walk in shower. Set in a Georgian building in Edinburgh’s historic West End, a stone’s throw from the upscale boutiques, acclaimed restaurants, and lively pubs that cluster around Princes Street. Museums like the Scottish National Gallery are a short walk away. The tram service to/from the airport is about 3 mins walk - 'West End Princess Street' stop. You can walk most places in Edinburgh, however if you don't feel like it there are many taxi's and Uber works well in the city. Buses run along the adjacent street or take a short stroll to Princes street and catch one there. Parking is notoriously bad in the city although there are plenty of 'pay and display' places on the street directly outside. A cheaper option would be to pre-book a nearby NCP car park. Parking on sundays is free, for now!
