Unique porcelain-enamel paneled "Lustron" home

This rare modern post war home has a style all its own. Created by Carl Strandlund in Columbus Ohio, it consisted of prefabricated porcelain enamel covered panels inside and out making it durable and easy to clean. Easing the postwar housing shortage and its maintenance free design were its selling points. Wicker Park/Noble Square/West Town has many great bars & restaurants & is an amazing location for exploring the city. WALK to the action on Division St. or Chicago Ave, Chicago's upcoming gallery district. A 1/2 block to the 56 bus takes you to the Loop in 10 min, or to the heart of Wicker Park in 5. A 10 min walk to the BLUE LINE serving O'Hare & Downtown. And Divvy bikes 1/2 block away.

We also have a landscaped backyard and patio with grill access, if requested Roscoe Village is one mile west of Wrigley Field and two miles west of the lake.
