The Cottage

The Cottage, with a studio style layout, is a bright and clean space just one mile from historic downtown lees summit with local shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is ~20 min from downtown Kansas City and 15 min from Kaufman and Arrowhead Stadium. This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Guests are welcome to take advantage of the two acre landscaped yard and enjoy a delicious s’more at the outdoor fire pit!

Great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and excellent fishing. We are 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs Golf Course and 3EX municipal airport. After booking, guests are required to complete a renter’s agreement and provide a valid government-issued photo ID prior to check-in. This is required for all guests without exception.

Charming Waldo Reader's Retreat

Sweet little bungalow in the heart of Waldo. Sits at the back of the property, so there is no fenced in yard. We had a new driveway poured in 2025, you’re welcome to use that or park on the street. Main bedroom is on the ground floor with an additional bed upstairs (the stairs are ladder-like, so not suitable for everyone!). We love this little house so much and think you will too.
