Our guesthouse is located in a dead-end street just a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Zaandam (with restaurants, bars and shops). Free parking . The guesthouse is in our backyard, which is so quite that you think you are in the countryside instead of just 30 minutes away from downtown Amsterdam which is very easy to be reached. Your stay is including 2 free bikes! The house is private and comfortable. Our prices are including Euro 5 tourist tax per person/night. So no additional charges!

Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. Een sprookjesachtig huisje aan het water in een oase van rust. Geniet op de houten veranda van een wijntje of warme chocomelk bij de haard met een fantastisch uitzicht over de polder. Verken de authentieke pittoreske dorpjes in de buurt met de gezelligste restaurants. Dit huisje bevind zich aan de achterkant van een boerderij, midden in een natuur-en vogelgebied in Noord-Holland op 30 min afstand van Amsterdam. Dichtbij Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Hoorn en het strand bij Egmond aan Zee.

Met veel enthousiasme hebben wij ons oude Herenhuis gerenoveerd en in oorspronkelijke staat hersteld. Op de bel-etage hebben wij een appartement gecreëerd dat wij nu verhuren. Het huis ligt in een levendige wijk op 5 minuten lopen naar het stadshart en op 4 minuten lopen naar het treinstation waarvandaan u in binnen 34 minuten op Amsterdam Centraal bent. Het appartement is recent en met veel aandacht gerenoveerd en van alle gemakken voorzien, geheel voor eigen gebruik met balkon.

De Rijper Oever

Wees welkom in het romantische tiny house De Rijper Oever. Gelegen aan de rand van het centrum van het pittoreske dorp De Rijp. Dit is de perfecte plek voor wie op zoek is naar rust, natuur en cultuur. Het huisje combineert modern comfort met een prachtig uitzicht op de Eilandspolder en is voorzien van een eigen terras met houtkachel. Het is ook de perfecte uitvalsbasis naar Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Edam of Zaanse Schans. Op loopafstand vindt u restaurants, boot- en fietsverhuur.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
