The Cairn Hotel offers single, twin, double and family accommodation for tourists and business visitors alike. Our seven rooms, all non-smoking - most of which are en suite - have tea / coffee, television, telephone and free WiFi internet access. Our restaurant offers excellent value for money using seasonal, fresh local produce and our bar is very welcoming, having won the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence every year since 2012 and now in the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame.

Twin Room with Breakfast

Our village is at the west end of Loch Tay and there is much to see around here alone, warranting a couple of nights stopover if our guests have the time to explore. Our twin room is located on the first floor up a flight of stairs. It has two standard single beds and a washbasin in the room as well as a hospitality tray with refreshments. A separate bathroom is allocated to this room which is about 3 meters away. A bathrobe is provided as are complementary toiletries.

Loch Ness

Named after the most famous loch in Scotland, the Loch Ness room sleeps 4 people (1 double or twin beds and bunk beds) and offers and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. This room also boasts an outside terrace with amazing views over the Fort Augustus and the River Oich. We are also dog friendly are happy to welcome well behaved pets with responsible owners. We will even provide a bed for the extra family member. (There is an additional charge of £20 per pet).

The lodges will provide you with a fully equipped kitchen area, cosy double bed, bathroom with a standalone shower, storage area and a large sofa that can be easily converted to another double bed. Your beds will be fully made up on arrival, with towels, Complimentary hamper of breakfast items, teas & coffees, kitchenette, free fast WiFi & large flat screen Smart TV, all the comforts of home while away. A 4 star Visit Scotland Victorian villa built in 1885 owned and run by Lawrence & Katrina since 2015. The house sits in attractive gardens on the shore of Loch Linnhe near Ballachulish and Glencoe and surrounded by spectacular mountain and coastal scenery. Full Scottish breakfast is included along with free wifi and parking. All rooms have en-suite showers. Special dietary needs can be catered for with notice. Double room for 2 people. NOT ensuite. Sky TV in room. Located across from the train station and only a few minutes walk from the distillery. Situated in the former village primary school and school house set in an acre of ground. Surrounded by mountains and Loch Ericht only a few minutes walk away. Hot tub in summer house outside, available to use for a small fee during summer months.

Suie Hunting Lodge is the former shooting lodge of the Suie Estate, built in 1780. We are now a small hotel with a passion for eclectic design and great food.
