This experience is a photographer's walking tour of the Toronto Distillery District. This historic landmark boasts some of the most photographed locations in Toronto. The distillery district was a real "Distillery" and commercial hub starting in 1832. The location now is a pedestrian-friendly collection of perfectly preserved buildings with cobblestone walkways and old relics, making for great imaging. As a popular tourist spot, photographing people amongst the buildings, shops, and restaurants add additional opportunities for great imaging. The tour will begin at the Western entrance (entrance is free) of the district and wind our way eastward through the buildings, streets, shops, and great places to get great images. The district is now a thriving location for shopping and cuisine giving visitors an unmatched opportunity to photograph Toronto, its history, and visit an important Canadian landmark. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop and eat before and after the tour. My philosophy to encourage creativity is to take visitors to the opportunities, point out some of the possibilities, and allow the photographer sufficient space to develop a creative environment.
