** Lunch 100% from the regenerative farm + valley to the table!**

Maliko is the "pico" of Maui, completely forgotten off of an old finger of the old Hana Highway, 5 minutes North of Paia.

You'll take an unexpected left turn and go back in time 100 years, in the lush tropical valley that has been completely planted with all of the original Polynesian voyaging plants that the ancient Hawaiians live and thrived on: coconut, taro, turmeric, ginger, ti leaf, ulu (breadfruit), breadfruit, sweet potato, lauhala, sugar cane, mamaki, lychee...

You will start with a full tour of the farm. This is a working ti leaf farm with over 15,000 ti leaf plants, and also where we make our leis and teach regenerative agriculture, and demonstrate the ancient Hawaiian ways of agriculture and aquaculture.

You will see the different plants and learn all their uses in ancient culture.

Harvest a regenerative gourmet lunch along the way & then sit down to eat your lunch & watch one of our short films and sit down for an educational presentation while you sit down for your harvest.

You'll get to feed the fish in the *aquaponics systems* and learn about sustainable aquaculture.

*Ti is a sacred Hawaiian plant (different from tea).

Other things to note:
Please do not arrive early - we are a working farm and cannot greet you until the time of your tour :)

I've spent over 30 years living off-grid, learning from Mother Nature, and now teach people worldwide how to build regenerative farms and live in alignment with Nature.

I co-founded Living Earth Systems and Regenerative Education Centers, to share the innovative agricultural approaches that I developed and that have been featured on WSL, Surfer Magazine, and the Discovery Channel.

I have also worked as a professional athlete - surfing, SUP, and kitesurfing - and have used the momentum to bring awareness to pollution & the state of our planet.

The tour was interesting and informative. Eddy had a lot of knowledge and was great to talk to about farming on Maui. The lei making was fun too. Tip- bring bug spray.

I think this is a must see tour as they did an incredible job showing and explaining how we can reuse carbon to help develop new soil which can help against global warming.

This was such an informative and interactive experience! Eddy was a great guide and we spent a lot of time talking and got a full tour of the farm. We were offered so many fruits & veggies as well. I felt like we took home knowledge about how the farm works but also how to incorporate some changes in practice for ourselves to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

We were greeted by Eddy and Sam and their dog champ who was very friendly. They offered tea and fruit from the garden that tasted wonderful. Listening to Eddy talk was very inspiring because he clearly was highly knowledgeable and passionate. We made ti leaf leis that we were able to bring home with us and we loved. Then we went around the garden and learned all about regenerative farming. There were so many different plants and fish and birds. We loved the experience and highly suggest trying it out.

Visiting Eddy and Sam was both an enlightening and inspiring experience. The regenerative farm and the techniques they use are impressive. They were both open, friendly, and ready to answer any questions. Harvesting and preparing the ti leaves with Sam really made me feel connected to the land and the ritual aspect of making the lei. We talked story, drank fresh picked mamaki tea and spent some time existing in appreciation of the land. If any of this sounds good to you, sign up. You won’t regret it.
