This trek, my sisters or I will be your guide:
Hi, my name is Sinh from the Black Hmong ethnic minority group in Sapa. I am an experienced local mountain guide in the Sapa area. I am passionate about nature, especially mountain trekking and hiking on the big rice terraces in my hometown. I love sharing my local culture with anyone who is looking for a unique, memorable trip. I want to show people the real Sapa. Hope to see you soon!
My sisters:
Tzu - I’m a Black Hmong girl born and raised in the village of Ta Van. I have four years of experience as an English-speaking tour guide in Sapa, and I love to show my customers the world I grew up in.
Bau - When I was young, I was following my mom to sell handicrafts on the streets. That gave us a chance to learn English by conversing with tourists. Now I become a great tour guide as my dream.

I had a great time trekking 3 days. It's a lot of walking and totally worth it! It's a tour for those who want to get off the tourist path. As of day 2 I saw only a few other people trekking. Really enjoyed it. Plus he helped me book the bus back to Hanoi, he even walked me to the station.

We arrived in front of Notre Dame church in Sapa and met up with chu, our guide for the stay.
When we left sapa, we were accompanied by two Hmong women for the first leg of the trip. After a couple of hours through some breathtaking nature, and a packet of sticky rice they had made, we got to a rest stop where we ordered some food.
The women that had accompanied us then showed us some goods they had made, and we bought some scarves.
We then continued our trip through the mountain-forest to a small town where we were going to stay at a house they are renting for these tours.
They made us some food and we sat and talked for a while with chu's brother and husband, and made plans for the next day.
The next day, we got to see chu's home before we went trekking up the mountain. On the way we stopped at the home of chu's mother, where they made us lunch and we got to try out some traditional Hmong clothes.
The rest of the day we walked around the mountain and got to see some of the most amazing nature Vietnam has to offer.
Back at the house they made us dinner, and thought us how to make bamboo sticky rice in the fire.
The third day was the shortest one, but also one of the most beautiful one.
We went trekking to a bamboo forrest, before we got to a large waterfall. We then continued to another resting station, where we ate lunch.
After lunch we got into a taxi, which drove us back to sapa where we got to take a shower and change clothes.
All in all, this has been a really great experience. Sinh and Chu were great hosts, and it was really great to meet their family and see how they live. We got to learn a lot about the Hmong culture and way of life, and are very grateful for their patience and humility.
We recomend doing this trip for anyone that want's to get close to the real world of the Hmong people

The three day trek was an incredible experience, and hands down the best thing I did during my month in Vietnam. Sinh's sister Bau was so knowledgeable and patient answering all of my questions about the different tribes in the area. Sinh was so kind to provide me with some rubber boots for the first day as it had just rained. The trek can get a bit intense at some points, but there were plenty of chances to pause for water, pictures, or just to catch your breath. Plan to hike around 13km each of the first 2 days, and 5km the last day. The path is varied, and we trekked on roads, narrow dirt paths, wooded trails, and around the edges of rice paddies. I will definitely be booking another trek with Sinh in the future.

A lot has been said already and I can vouch for everything. I did the 3 days trek and it was well worth it. Chu was an excellent and thoughtful guide with whom I had a great time. Food was great and plentiful. Homestay accommodation were basic yet comfortable.
Other than that you should expect to hike from 9.30ish until 3.00ish pm for a total of about 14km the first two days and only 5km on the last day. The walk is a but physical; expect steep climbs and descent at times. If you do it after the rain, be prepared to fall on your ass because the paths are very slippery but that’s part of the fun. Definitely recommend !

This is a once in a lifetime experience, the booking team was very friendly and helpful. On this journey you will go to thru the villages and see how the tribes live, all were very friendly, you will expend the night in a homestay, eat traditional home made food. You walk by the rice fields, some times you have to use your hands if slippery, you will step in to rocks and go on water puddles, bring the right shoes.
I will definitely recommend this experience.
