Qué harás

Around hyehwa station, there are many places to look around and good place to take a walk. Marronnier park, Naksan park, Ihwa mural village, and Daehak-ro where there are a number of play theaters, cafe, art center, restaurants, pub and bars.
You can see awesome view of seoul at naksan park along seoul fortress wall and also find calm, cozy, seems like fairy-tale, little village compared to noisy, popular daehak-ro. You can compare and feel simultaneously this 2 different place. There are good place to take a photo, actually, movie or some TV program was made in this spot. At the village, you should keep calm, bacause local resident lives in there, keeping calm, you can walk around and do anything. We need to walk and hike because there are steep hill and stairs, so keep it in mind. (Comfy shoes needed and we will take a walk about 30min totally during conversation)
After that, we walk down to go eat!! Maybe feel hungry. We're going to gwangjang market.

tour route
1. We will meet and start at marronnier park(Hyehwa station Exit 2)
2. naksan park ~ Ihwa mural village
3. come to hyehwa station
4. gwangjang market to eat(In market, there you can see how korean vendor's daily life goes on and local scenary, of course with delicious korean food)

I lived in Hyehwa for over 10 years as local. Also love travelling, local place, meeting new people, culture and experiences. I'm interested in speak with foreigners about some issue and mingle with travelers.
As local resident and traveler, I can show you around daehak-ro, naksan park, Ihwa village and also traditional market. Since 2010, I've traveled some countries and cities(london, paris, venice, firenze, rome, bangalore, new delhi in India, Nepal, Taiwan, chiangmai in Thailand, tokyo and akita in Japan, etc) and it gave me a fresh perspective of life. You can be with me and see nice seoul night view, street art. And also I can give some information about the place you should visit or to go. I'm about to launch my own small business which are location independent.

Overall a good experience. Despite the difficult climb to the top, the night view was just awesome. The walk around the artsy street was refreshing. Enjoyed the market tour and the food!

It was a nice evening hike. The view at the top was worth it. The experience ended with great food at the market.

Naksa Park provides an alternative to the busy Namsan Park. Ihwa Mural Village is quaint and easy to take photos. Prepare sufficient tummy capacity to eat at Gwangjang

This was a lovely intro to Seoul on our first evening in the city. A great, hardy but good walk up a steep climb allowed us to get some much needed exercise after a long flight and the reward was a lovely view of the city. The “Montmartre” of Seoul was cool and I liked the abundance of street art and the quiet aspect of the streets. Dinner at the market was tasty and authentic. We would really recommend.

Chang was very knowledgeable of Seoul and all of the places we explored. He personalized the tour to our interests. The food was incredible and I couldn’t find that place without Chang.

Overall, I think this could improve and become a nice experience. Organizing a clear and easy starting location is the first thing I would change. The walking tour was nice, but I could have gotten more information from google than what was provided. I enjoyed the market very much.
