I live and work on Siquijor because I want to share my love for the Philippine culture, raise awareness about local environmental issues, connect the communities of Siquijor with tourism income, and support visitors to have fun. In 2007 I moved to Siquijor as a US Peace Corps Volunteer and spent the next three years falling in love with my community and the Philippines. I specialized in marine resource management and spent my time working with local partners on rehabilitating the coastal ecosystem and developing environmental outreach programs for youth. I have returned to the Philippines because I want to share my love for the Philippine culture, raise awareness of issues surrounding the current state of the local environment, and how the communities of Siquijor are adapting.

Siquijor is know as a Mystical island because of its history of local folk healers. We want to introduce you to healers are a truly experts at their craft. Many of the other destinations have been chosen because they are off the beaten path and are rarely visited. We want to experience a side of Siquijor that is not as crowded but equally as beautiful. This island has so much to share with you.

I believe strongly in giving back to the community that has given me so much. A portion of your payment will go directly towards supporting three NGOs that focus on environmental and social issues such as marine conservation and youth mentorship. More information will be provided during the day
