The perfect, peaceful countryside location to unwind and relax, yet Harlow & Epping towns are just a short drive. Nearest train stations are Epping, Harlow Town, Harlow Mill, 15 mins by car. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

Close to Stansted Airport (20 minutes), beautiful rural location, part of our 14th century farmhouse, the old Bakehouse is a cosy bedroom and ensuite with private entrance. We are not a hotel, but this is an extension of our family home. If you wish to leave your car, if you are flying from Stansted, we can offer long-term parking for £10/day (vs £25/day at Stansted Airport). Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
