Free street parking is available on side opposite of house; restrictions apply Thursday evenings depending on the season, check signs. Free street parking available on other side streets, metered parking on others. Of course, check appropriate signs where apply. There's an Enterprise Car Rental on Fairview Ave which I believe do pickups and drop offs. The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.
