Cockenzie Studio

Relax in this cosy stylish studio which is an annexe to our 1880 fisherman's cottage in the quaint historic harbour village of Cockenzie, linked with Port Seton - the house is actually located on the battlefield of the Battle of Prestonpans. Five minutes walk to the harbour and local swimming cove and even closer to Cockenzie House - a thriving community hub with beautiful gardens, a cafe, vintage fairs, live music and much more. The coastal walkway John Muir Way runs through Cockenzie.

The Bonnie Wee Bothy

TBWB is a rural off grid eco retreat nestled in the heart of East Lothian, Scotland. This enchanting space is ideal for walkers, couples, and their furry companions. Disconnect from technology and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of nature. Here, you won't find a TV or WiFi, but we offer an extensive collection of books, games, a radio, and even an outdoor bath and new bespoke wood burning sauna for ultimate relaxation. With every booking made we will be planting a tree on the farm.

Garden Cottage

Our peaceful cottage is located at the bottom of our garden, reached by a private lane less than 200 yards from the centre of Haddington. Haddington is a historic market town 20 miles east of Edinburgh and has good public transport to the city. Located in East Lothian and 20 minutes drive to the many beaches and golf courses. There are several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within an easy stroll. The cottage is self-contained with private parking in a relaxed, quiet setting.

Minutes from historic Haddington’s cafés, independent shops and restaurants, it sleeps four in a king bedroom and a twin, and offers private driveway parking, a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living space and superfast fibre broadband. Gullane Golf Club, Muirfield and The Renaissance Club are all within easy reach.

Ideally located on the Railway walk and cycle route 196 to Glenkinchie Distillery , Carberry, Penicuik and surrounding areas. No WiFi or TV, this is digital detox zone for recharging your own batteries. Dogs are welcome too, it would be rude not to bring them when there are so many lovely walks nearby.
