Escape city life, or visit the big smoke, all the while enjoying the country feel of the Cottage, incl the use of sauna, spa, firepit, push bikes, gym, sporting equipment & games!

“Robyn’s Nest” 100m walk to waterfront

Located in Brighton just a short walk to the waterfront, local pool, shops, & restaurants. You will have the entire house to yourself which contains everything you need, 2 comfortable queen size beds, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioners and fans in all areas, 2 x TV, washing machine and large covered entertaining area. Easy access to buses & trains to take you to areas of Brisbane or Gold Coast. Unfortunately, the Villa is not suitable for under 10's. Very quiet, home away from home feel.

It lies approximately 15 minutes drive from the rural village of Dayboro, or 20 minutes from Samford Village and 45 min from Brisbane and Brisbane Airport. Fig Tree Cottage is surrounded by 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife, walking trails , landscaped gardens, dam, a creek and swimming hole when flowing. Just a short walk from cafés, shops, parklands and the beachfront, with Sandgate Station only 700m away (3 stops to BEC). Brisbane Airport is a 15-minute drive and the CBD is a 30-minute train ride. Wander up the Secret Garden path and step into your own peaceful hideaway, with a plunge pool to cool you on those hot humid days.

Unit is located behind our house. Own entrance, off street parking. A 2 minute walk to Shops (Coles +), restaurants and hotel. A bus stop, which can take you to Chermside (shops or more buses) or Strathpine shops and railway station or the City. A 15 minute drive to major shopping centres and hospitals. 40 minutes to city. 2 hours Gold Coast and 1.5 hours to Sunshine coast. The unit is only suitable for 1 or 2 guests. I am sorry but I cannot accommodate infants/children or pets.
