Sealladh Dubh

Sealladh Dubh sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, there's fishing - permit required - on the doorstep,beautiful views over the Black Isle. Dingwall town centre is a 10 minute walk - aprox 1/2 mile - with many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and pubs. The North Coast 500 route also passes through Dingwall. Hill walking and nature trails are also easily accessible or if it's beaches you're after, there's an abundance. We supply tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, bread, water and butter.

The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed nestles under a large ancient Monterey Pine at the bottom of our garden in the beautiful village of Findhorn. Less than two minutes from Findhorn Bay and a ten minute walk to the beach on the Moray Firth. Guests have their own access and sole use of the Boat Shed. Just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and Marina. Perfect for a short break or holiday. Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing.

Please Google or read the description in the photos of what a bothy is. If expecting a five star hotel do not stay here. Bothy with a comfy bed. One up from camping. enjoy the beauty and simplicity of the Strath Oykel scenery. A gas stove and a loo with a view. The Bothy benefits from a fire pit to enjoy sundowners and northern lights from, looking onto a loch. There is also a log burner for those chillier evenings. Bring drinking water and food. Everything else should be there.

The Cabin is an open plan, newly built unit with hot tub, set in its own private grounds with ample parking. With stunning views of Ben Wyvis, we are on the NC500 route and also close to plenty amenities including golf courses, many beautiful walks and restaurants. The accommodation comprises of one king size bed, a double-sofa bed, electric heating, electric stove, luxurious shower room and a welcome basket with local produce. No smoking indoors, pet friendly on request.

With The cabin comes complete with an en-suite shower room and kitchenette. Quality towels and bedding, Smart TV and WIFI are provided. This cabin has a double bed, French doors onto a gravelled private area with patio furniture perfect for enjoying a drink, the views and sea air.

Forester's Bothy, cosy studio.

This newly built, open plan studio has a woodburning stove, great views and is ideally suited for exploration of Loch Ness, NC500 and the hills, glens and beaches of north Scotland. The hosts live next door, but the studio has its own private garden area and plenty of parking. There are lovely walks from the door through fields and forest, and a chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin is in a peaceful rural setting, but only 12 miles from the city of Inverness.

Also we are only a 20 minute drive from the Traitors Castle made famous on the BBC. The cabins are designed for two adults and two children, space on sofa bed is restrictive for two adults.
