Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.

Yewbarrow - Shepherd's hut overlooking Wastwater

One of two traditional wooden shepherd's huts situated at the top of the beautiful Wasdale valley on a working Lakeland hill farm. Both huts have spectacular lake views over Wastwater and the surrounding fells and are the perfect bases for outdoor activities. Built from scratch by none other than the owners themselves, the dog-friendly Tweedenburn Shepherd's Hut is more than just a labour of love; it’s also a completely off-grid hut powered by solar panels and in an excellent spot for exploring the Scottish Borders. When you’re ready for a kip, there’s a comfortable double bed for two inside the hut. Complete with a woodburning stove. Firepit/ barbecue and gas hob provided in the outdoor kitchen. All utensils provided.
