Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Beds are made with linen and throws. Supper cozy

Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

A traditional barn, set on the slopes of Whernside, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this truly is a secluded spot. Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
