Traditional Irish Cottage

This traditional style Irish thatch cottage is a truly unique and cosy property. Self catering with private parking. Situated in North Cork, in the heart of Munster, within an hours drive of major cities in the south. The Cottage is only 500 metre’s, with views of the Galtee Mountains, from the beautiful ‘Famous’ Kildorrery town and a 10 minute drive from Mitchelstown (M7 Motorway). One of the many local amenities include, the Ballyhoura mountains, perfect for hikers or keen mountain bikers.

Little Vista

You are going to stay in our small but cozy guest house in the middle of the country site in the village of Birdhill. Its a self contained guest house with a kitchen/living room, small double bedroom and bathroom. We are conveniently located only 10 min away from M7 motorway (exit 27), and 20 min away from Limerick City. Shannon airport 40 min drive. Killaloe/ Ballina which is located only 10min drive from our house is one of the most picturesque village attractions with plenty of restaurants.

The Bird's Nest is a stone built former cow barn built in the 1700s with a modern second floor. Ideal for walking routes, great local restaurants/pubs and a whole lot of relaxing. Surrounded by fields and farmland with a private garden space, you will be sure to unwind if you want to stay local. A beautiful swimming, kayaking and picnic area is a short stroll down a quiet road to Whitegate beach. Easy access to Galway, The Burren, Ennis, Limerick. Fiber broadband. Yard CCTV. The Tea House - A countryside retreat with views

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. The Tea House is a small guest house adjacent to our home on a working farm surrounded by nature and beautiful countryside. Views of the Galtee and Knockmealdown mountains from the patio. Cahir Castle, Swiss Cottage, Inch field is walking distance. Ideal for walkers (St Declan’s Way and Glengara Woods), golf (Cahir Park Golf Club), fishing and visiting the Rock of Cashel. One hours drive from Limerick, Cork, Waterford and Kilkenny.

The Studio in the Sky

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Situated on a lovely & homely property with lots of space for parking, gated and secure property. Not suitable for parties or large groups.

The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, etc. The toilet/wetroom has an Triton T90SR electric shower. There is a TV with saoirview channels. The tigín is beside our house. Less than 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and very close to Ballykeefe amphitheatre. 5 minutes drive to callan.
