Coro Camping, Coromandel

Coro Camping is a totally private eco camping site with your own river pool, hidden away in the beautiful and peaceful Rangihau Valley. Close to all the popular beaches with great biking and tramping on your doorstep. Our season runs from the beginning of December to the end of March. Each year we look forward to meeting new and existing clients to share our little piece of paradise. If you wish to bring the family or friends please get in touch to add extra people for your stay. Access to beach via private walkway or a short flat stroll to estuary. We also provide disabled access and facilities. We are minutes away from beautiful hikes, waterholes , swimming and picnic spots .Our property is on a peninsula between a beautiful Estuary and a lovely surf beach . Famous Hot Water beach, and Cathedral Cove are thirty minutes away

Cosy cabin overlooking orchard & native bush. Ideal as a base to explore the area or an overnight stay. Set on a small farm 15 minutes drive from Whitianga & Hot Water, Hahei or Cathedral Cove beaches. Our sunny cabin has a comfortable queen bed, en suite bathroom, covered deck & parking, set adjacent to our house. Tea, coffee and continental breakfast for your first morning are provided in the cabin. Please note due to limited space two people max (no additional infants).

Coromandel Sanctuary

Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.

Our cottage is close to parks, Cooks beach, Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove. You’ll love the stunning views over Mercury Bay and its islands from the bed and terrace. The cottage is private surrounded by bush. There is a full kitchen and you are welcome to use the vegetables and fruit from the garden. Cooks Cottage is perfect for a couple.
