Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. This detached, traditional farmhouse is full of old world charm with stone flagged floors, exposed beams, wood panelled walls and studded oak doors. There are three reception rooms, two with wood burners and two kitchens with granite work surfaces. Five very comfortable bedrooms await you with old oak floors and beams and a 6th mezzanine bedroom. A large master bedroom has a modern ensuite. There’s a lovely family bathroom with a shower and roll-top bath upstairs and a wet room downstairs.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our modern cabin is set in our ten acre small holding close to the south Cumbria beaches and southern Lake District. Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.
