While a vehicle is recommended to see all that San Diego has to offer, we are close to a trolley that can get you downtown and other areas. The cottage features full amenities that include: Tempurpedic™ queen-size bed. Wi-Fi, Smart TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, coffee maker, toaster, and iron. Window seat for sitting, reading or lounging. Private entrance and patio connecting to a courtyard and Japanese garden. Spacious bathroom with 12 foot high tiled shower. French doors open to a private sitting area. If the days are booked in the cottage we might have an opening at, Mikes House and Garden.

This private guest suite is located on the first floor/basement of our historic home, which we’ve been restoring. It has a private entrance and all the amenities of an apartment. Recently renovated, the space feels fresh and modern. Please note that our family lives upstairs, including children and dogs, so you may hear normal household sounds. We do our best to be respectful, but this home is best suited for guests comfortable with a lived-in environment rather than complete silence.

Twenty minutes to the famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World and the Convention center. Chula Vista Third Avenue breweries and restaurants are nearby as well as the outdoor North Island Amphitheater and Coronado beach. The San Diego International airport is about 25 minutes away.
